Frank was kissing his wife when the director came over.
"Hey, hey! Practice makes perfect!" he teased.
Frank glared. Leslie scowled. The director did a double-take and gasped.
"Leslie, honey, what is that?" He pointed at her midsection. Frank threatened to break his hand.
"It’s my stomach," Leslie replied.
"No, no. Stomach is higher. That is womb territory!" He glared at her and his tone turned to scolding. "Why was I not informed of this?"
"You were," Frank said. "Did you think her character gets pregnant just for fun?"
The director blushed and stammered. "Still!"
An infuriating silence later, they were alone again.
"Cough up," Frank said. "Less than three months. Cough."
Leslie sighed and dug a twenty out of her purse.
