I am so frustrated right now!  My best friend, S, really likes this guy we met not so long ago.  He and I were chatting tonight and I was trying to hook him up with her, but then he said he likes me!  Unfortunately, she was looking over my shoulder at the time and burst into tears when she saw what he said.  I have absolutely no interest in him,

Welcome to highschool hun. Things like that will happen alot the next 4 years. All you can really do is try to explain to your friend that you don't like this guy and you want them to be together. Not that you want him for yourself. If she can't believe that then obviously shes not all that great. Trust me, I lost one of my best friends for a similar situation. We're friends now, but I'll never forget what happened. Luckly by the time you're a senior most of the drama will be old news and you'll most likely still be friends with the same girl. All friends go through crap. It only makes your bond stronger. You'll face alot of things in highschool and learn who your true friends are. Don't be scared, and don't try to push the lessons that you'll learn along the way, away. Embrace them.
