Sometimes I Just LOVE The TV Ads
My latest is AT&T's "Faster is better" campaign. Those kids! OMG, the werewolf one, the kid who says she's "absolutely positive," and the one who gets dizzy shaking his head and his hand at the same time. I pee myself laughing every time they come on, and if it's during something I've got on the DVR, I go back and watch a couple of times. -

I suspect J.K.'s "metaphor thing" drove people crazy, but I thought most of 'em were darned clever. Personal Sadness
I had to put my kitty to sleep yesterday. Heart failure. Poor girl. In some respects, it's great that we can make this decision for them, but it doesn't make it hurt any less. Grousing, Yet Not
Instead of being a mere 19 days away, my favorite sci-fi con, Shore Leave, will be held this year (and for the foreseeable future) the first weekend of August, 40 days away! In many ways, this is a good thing, because I've realized over the years it's really the anticipation that's the thing. But still. -

"Eureka" Christmas Episode
Hysterical and quite, quite clever. I mean, I'm a grown woman, and perhaps this kind of television shouldn't amuse me so, but it sure did! I was literally laughing out loud, and that's definitely not something I normally do at TV. Plus it had a warm and fuzzy holiday ending. Who could ask for more? Just plain fun. -
