LOL That's a great description of that movie. If Robert Downey Jr wasn't so charming, I'd have definitely found it harder to watch, but that dastard can make me sit through anything. :D Jude was a surprisingly good Watson, I thought. Rachel McAddams, on the other hand, was totally miscast!
RDJ was decent - a scrappier SH but you're right, he's charming Jude was really good - nice to see a 'sexier' Watson -ha ha - **hopes he continues to make these types of movies** Rachel - meh - i think they made too much of the IA part myself but whatevers!!
I figured that if I didn't mind RDJ crawling on all fours during "My mind rebels at stagnation", I could tolerate pretty much anything this film had to throw at me. :P Even that ridiculous plot. Yeah, I dunno what it is about Irene Adler, lots of adaptations make her more important than she is, I suppose because it's unthinkable to have a main character who's an asexual misogynist. Blah, I say!

well they're all great - i am rewatching this series all over again - need to after seeing 'Sherlock Holmes on Acid' in the theater the other night :P
