LJ buddies - le sigh... :-)

Yes, I know, I haven't posted anything here in forever but that does not mean I'm not reading friends' posts and lurking every way I can. I guess I just had no incentive to write anything new since I'm working too bloody hard (not that I'm complaining) - I've done a translation of 2 children's books, one world atlas for kids and am still working on ( Read more... )

things that make me smile, personal

Congratulations! Do you know what you'll have? (It's ok if you don't want to share, I'm just curious if you and your husband decided to wait to find out or if you know already.)

And good for you too on your translations. :) I've been doing a lot more of that since we last spoke, although not books. I do it through a website. I was going to ask if you were interested in me sending you a link to it (they have a lot of other things too, and you basically bid on projects) but it sounds as if you might be too busy to look into it now. However, when you have the time or desire, let me know! I can't promise that it'll be great (and it won't be children's books for the most part, mainly boring instruction manuals), but I've made some money from it.

I hope you are doing well and feeling rested, despite working so hard. :)

I'm having a baby girl :-) I actually wanted to know and he agreed.

Great about the website! :-) You're right, currently I'm in over my head with this book on politics that I'm translating on top of other things so I'll probably ask for the link later. Although I worry how I'll be able to work when the baby is born ... I guess it depends on the baby :-)

Thank you for the support :-)

Aw. Congratulations. I like to know these things to satisfy my own curiosity - I mean, if the parents decide to find out or wait. I don't think I could ever wait to find out - how would you prepare?! And isn't it better to argue over names *before* the baby arrives, without having to argue about boy names and girl names? (Unless you're having twins ( ... )
