Aww poor doggies, and poor you. A dog is such a responsibility. And you know he knows better.

I think people declaring "I am deep" is either:
1. a cry for attention- "look at me! pay attention to me!"
2. sort of a reminder that they are a person with thoughts, dreams, and feelings too. We sometimes forget that the other people we interact with (yes even that butt-munch that cut you off in traffic then flipped you the bird) are real people and not inanimate objects that get in our way.
3. For some, it's just a non-sensical phrase that some people might use to disguise their shallowness. Perhaps they heard someone else say it once and thought they'd give it a try too.
