Birthday rules, best friends, bus parties, and cops

I must start this entry with a question. Who else celebrates birthdays with the rule that no one (in the family or otherwise) can say "no" to anything you ask as long as it's not illegal or immoral ( Read more... )

Ah, you are so lucky. Nope, never had any tradition like that. A good birthday consisted of someone saying "Oh by the way, Happy Birthday" and that was about it. Once I hit about 15 I was too old for birthdays anymore so nobody really celebrated. You have an awesome family. Its a cute tradition. But no, I don't think this is the norm.

my apologies. I just read some freaky blog where people talked funny and tried to mimic it and ended up getting stuck in it. all better now but no, this years bday I honestly prefer to be just regular. I have school that day anyways
