I have been...malcontent...for about 3 weeks now. I'm restless, feel like I'm just drifting, and I'm having trouble concentrating. I'm doing dumb things, letting my emotions get the best of me, and I'm not eating enough. I'm disengaging from all the people around me ( Read more... )

I know exactly what you mean .. I've been there for the last 3 years of my life . However, unlike you it took me forever to recognise that it wasn't just a normal change within myself. Even longer to decide to do something about it, then another 12 months before I found the right thing for me. Turns out my rather expensive tribal paid off, luckily. Its nice to have the motivation to set goals for myself again.. and have the motivation also to meet them :).

Good luck and really hope its just a temporary state for you and will pass quickly. Hugs!

That happens to me when I don't exercise for a while. It's wierd. Like if I start getting too inactive, I'll start feeling depressed for no reason. The sad thing is, if there is actually stress in my life, I blame the depression on that stress because I see no other reason for it. But yeah, sometimes it happens for no reason, and I start to exercise again and it goes away for me.
Just a thought. Your results may vary. The weather has been beautiful. I know you already take your doggie for a walk but maybe you need something more to do.

Being depressed about nothing is quite possibly my best event. But it's only human. I've found that spending a few minutes at PostSecret makes me feel better.

You always manage to find the coolest websites! I looked at it and had to laugh at the pee in the pool one.
How interesting is it that people will take the time to mail a secret in to a website so people will post it for the world to see...
*scribbles a few lines*

*affixes a stamp to the postcard*
I mean, really, why would you need to!
*looks frantically for a mailbox*
