No need to feel self-conscious about faith and praying. I'm reasonably sure we pray to different deities. Everyone's faith is personal, thus no two are alike. The ones who need to be ashamed of their faith are those who try to sell it as the only one that's real - my faith is just as real to me as anyone else's is to them.
And prayer can be as simple as 'oh, shit, I could really use some help here.' I think divine powers understand, no matter how it's phrased.
And ... WooHoo! on both the new project and the marathon.
p.s. my mother always told me -getting- married was easy; it's -staying- married that's tough! ... while I'll never admit she's right ... she's right. :)
