In the line break between your text and the emails type:

*lj-cut*

remove the * from the text and replace with < >

um not cool.

she made a mistake.

she needs to pay for her mistake.

it sucks that she made a mistake but really, when a company makes a mistake they have to fix it.

that is what businesses do.

What really irritates me is that she offered compensation for her mistake and then came back and said, "Nope! Talked to my husband and master over me and he said no!"

If some nobody manager at Best Buy offered me a credit for bad service and then rescinded it the next day because of a conversation with their spouse, I'd be super pissed. The owner of a business doing something like that is inexcusable.

No wonder she's going out of business. You don't win return customers like that.

that sucks.
but if i were the buyer i would have been paranoid enough to click the insurance box anyway.
or if i were the seller i would have been paranoid enough to say "hey there is more than 5 diapers going out are you sure you don't want to buy insurance?" i would have a "for more than 5 diapers you must buy insurance policy".

was the post office able to lend any information as who delivered it/where it was dropped off?

I figured since I was only purchasing 1 $5 slot and I was going to be sending much more than that it wouldn't matter. It was only $1.70 anyways which would not cover the whole cost. Looking back yes I should and will do that from now on just as one more precaution. Actually I won't send out this many diapers ever.

Did you guys pay for the insurance? If you did, then I don't see how she can deny that replacement of all of the diapers should be at her cost. This is such a sad situation and I sympathize with her making a costly mistake as a small WAHM, but when you chose to open a business you do so knowing that there are unpleasant aspects of that business that you may need to deal with.

So sorry for everyone involved.

No it was not paid for at the time. My friend told Sarah we wanted insurance and to bill her for her total including embroideries, shipping and insurance.

So you paid for the shipping and insurance when you paid the balance on the embroidery, right? I don't think that you should be SOL because you didn't add it into HC at the time of the initial purchase. I have had customers add insurance after they initially paid and didn't think twice about it.
