Sumbuns FAIL

Over a year ago (in fact, closer to 18-24 months ago) I made an agreement to do web content for Summer of Sumbuns in exchange for store credit. Along w/ developing product descriptions and written policies for shipping/returns/etc., I also did many of the listings on her Hyena Cart. I'm so sorry. I've only had mildly annoying experiences with her like waaaay late testers I canceled and were sent anyway, waaaaay late customs, wrong diaper sent and my emails were ignored even after I alerted her to the problem through LJ, etc.

I feel like she is quite the train wreck.

Not lately. She suddenly disappeared off LJ at around the time I started asking where my stuff was.

I think everything was pretty much closed up after the last huge shit fest about her. I'm still pissed beyond belief and I barely used any of the diapers that I did end up getting from her. The ones I did get though (when I got them) were good quality.
After everything though, I hated everything about them and could of had a bonfire and burned the $hit out of them.

I sold them at a loss to my neighbour who is currently using them.

The stuff she was supposedly make for me was after the business closed altogether, as payment for my work for her. Talk about a waste of time and creativity, man.

To be honest, I'm really surprised that people still bought from her after the numerous times she's been featured here. My first run in with her was less than stellar so I wasn't surprised after she was brought up in here numerous times in the past.

I'm sorry you were burned so badly by someone you considered a friend. I hope you're able to get some kind of resolution, and I hope this post makes people think twice about dealing with her in the future.

Your time and talent is just as valuable as anyone else's, imo.

She seemed like the nicest person...she always helped me out with diapers and extra stuff (and had them shipped on time). I've never once been taken advantage of (but from what I hear I was one of a few lucky ones, and also I bought from her before she started having issues).

It's sad that she WAS a friend and that she had to dick you over like that! It would be one thing if she just admitted that she didn't have them/couldn't do them, but to just disappear completely is insane! I wish I could help, but I gave all my diapers to Sarah, who has since passed them on (plus they were boyish anyways).

I hope you get this resolved one day!
