Ah, what do I say about this particular mama other than scammer.
May 23rd I went on DS fsot and found a CP Candy Crush, one of my ISO's. I pm'd the mama, screen name mom21girl and she gave me her PP address. I thought all was kosher. I went on the GM forum and saw a post by "Markswife" about her trade gone sour. It was for a OBV Candy Crush for her ( Read more... )

Let's add her real name is Lindsey Ward and her husband is Adam Ward from Virginia and this is not the only person to be scammed by her.

WHY is she still on TGM forums if she is a known scammer?

This really doesnt make me feel good about trading/buying/or selling there.

I'm thinking because there is no proof that she scammed THERE. Just on DS.

She produced a receipt that stated she shipped something to Texas. Claimed it was from a self service PO machine but that it didnt have DCs print on the receipt.

From what I know, all the SS machines are the SAME and the DC *DOES* print on it.

And from what Kelly has said, her DC (that wasnt on the receipt but given to her by Lindsey) shows that the package was delivered to Lindsey's husband's hometown. Fishy? I think so.

i'm not going to jump in here and get involved.. BUT my po NEVER puts the DC numbers on the receipt. I didn't even know it was POSSIBLE. So I think it may vary from place to place.

We always get our DC number after we pay, they hand me a sticker with a stub and they stamp the date on it manually.

I was the other 1/3 of this transaction gone wrong (markswife on GM). I traded my NIP Candy Crush CP for steggie's NIP Candy Crush OBV which I never received. I have it on good word from her friend that she never even had an OBV to trade in the first place. The delivery confirmation # she gave me showed my package being delivered in her DH's hometown. Coincidence? I think not.......... We didn't ship via PP b/c she's claimed multiple times not to have a PP acct. She provided me with a receipt for proof. The receipt is a poor scan with a line marked through the weight of the package and no delivery confirmation number. I have spoken to 4 USPS workers who are completely baffled. I was also told that the confirmation number would be on the receipt. When I requested a better scan of the receipt, steggie would NOT comply. She is no longer responding to my private messages. I'm out a VHTF dipe that I paid over retail for. Please do not let another innocent mama be scammed by her.
