Ah, what do I say about this particular mama other than scammer.
May 23rd I went on DS fsot and found a CP Candy Crush, one of my ISO's. I pm'd the mama, screen name mom21girl and she gave me her PP address. I thought all was kosher. I went on the GM forum and saw a post by "Markswife" about her trade gone sour. It was for a OBV Candy Crush for her ( Read more... )

I just received this email from her and can forward it to anyone who wants it

Tell everyone I am sorry for the evil I have done. I know how wrong it was and I cannot be forgiven. It just isn't fair how so many of you live in your big houses and can spend $$$ on goodmamas and whatever you like. I wish I could live 1 day in the life of some of you. Not because you have more money but because you are happy and have supporting husbands. I will not forgive myself for the pain I have caused all you moms. I know now more than before my life is not worth anything. What kind of mother am I? I am just an evil selfish bitch just like my mother was. I am out of control and no one can help me. I know my husband can do better than me, and my daughter deserves a better mother. I hope she never learns of what I have done to all of you. I hope my husband finds a better wife and mother for her and she grows up knowing that she was loved so much. Again please tell them I am sorry and I will never hurt anyone else again that is promised. Goodbye.

Something is wrong here!! Why would she not tell her dh the moms that were involved in these transactions? Is she not staying at the house with him? I am very concerned here. Please no one give out any personal info to these people!!

She has lied repeatedly to him so I can't blame him for not trusting what she says at this point. He is coming across as genuine to me and I hope this does get resolved for all parties involved

Steggie's DH just emailed me asking for the names of the mamas hurt in this along with emails so he can get refunds to ya'll. He is being really sweet about this and I feel for him as well since he said he just found out about this himself.

How sad for him that all this was going on without his knowledge, and how fortunate for the mamas involved that he is willing to make things right.

I agree. It's great that he is willing to make it right and so sad that someone he trusted was doing this under his nose.

I can somewhat understand, it's probably frustrating for someone who doesn't have the means to see others being able to get what they want easily/easier. But it means nothing in the longterm, she makes assumptions that everyone lives in huge houses and buys without problem, we all have our own scam free ways of gettign what we want, and surely, we might be a little diaper crazy, but there's no reason to scam.

I suspect his desire to make this right may also be due to the fact that he is military. I am sure he would not want his command getting word that his wife was engaging in fraud over the internet and through the postal service, as they might suspect that he was involved too. The military doesn't take stuff like that lightly and it can ruin your career. Were I in his shoes, I'd be scurrying to make things right too, because no doubt he has worked hard to get where he is and has no desire to jeopardize his efforts to make a good life for his family.

I feel bad for her, but that's no excuse. Anyone can cloth diaper with prefolds and a couple of cheap covers and there are organizations out there like Miracle Diapers who help those who truly can't afford to CD. Nobody NEEDS boutique diapers.
