Ahhhhh, yes! If we could bottle that exercise-induced rush and sell it, we'd be gazillionaires--it truly is the best medicine! I think the knowledge of this is what gets me to the gym at least half of the time.

I love reading about your weight-training... I can relate to that sublime feeling of floating after a great lifting effort. It's neat that we share the same (or similar) goals. =) Don't feel badly about your bi's and anterior delts--these are classically the most difficult muscles to train for most women, as we just don't have them. Also, 40 lb pull-downs are very respectable for a female, whether you're using a straight bar or a rope. =)

Yay for today's bike and big hill challenge for your strong quads and glutes!!

Heee, thanks for the encouragement! I am just frustrated at the loss of strength I've experienced due to my gym absence since beginning my new job. But, now that I have my priorities straight (gym first then work:-) I'll gain my strength back and then some.

I too love reading your workout posts. They are so inspirational - that woman across the way, doing her routine, that looks fantastic and makes you push through that last impossible rep :-)
