Okay. Seriously.

The best part is that their budget was about $150 MILLION,which is more than half the budget of the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy. Good job, guys. Good job. I guess they assumed that most of the audience would be kids, and we all know kids are stupid!

The best review I read stated that the film makers were probably retarded, but where they faltered was when they assumed their audience was also retarded. haha.

I was talking about the Alethiometer effect on the way home from the movie... I compared it to the Wayne's World "dream sequence," but Batteries Not Included works just as well!!

I suspect this was a very B-level production, despite the budget. Who did the cg? (I haven't seen it yet.)
