A love reflection on one of the harder parts of parenting. I found the dialogue to be particularly real, and loved the tidbits you added, like the bit about the chickens not laying as much. Nicely drawn!

Toddlers are hard to manage no matter what. Rational is all relative. At least your guy is verbal. He'll get more manageable as he matures. I work w special ed teenagers. Best work ever. Parents have the tougher job. Hugs.

I loved this! Toddlers are a special challenge. You did a great job with the dialogue. Who can say if a "tough" mom or a "soft" mom (or father) is the right way. It's clear you love your son. Beyond that, who knows?
