Finny bottom? Human top? Mermaid! In the lake! Above the water!

I thought mermaids were supposed to be horrifying creatures that dragged people to their deaths...oh, no, wait, those are sirens, but still, I thought mermaids kill people, too!

Oh? I should perhaps look into this to make sure nothing bad occurs. You have heard the tales of those mermaids that are able to sprout legs and live among humans for a time so that they may lure unsuspecting victims and then consume their flesh in its entirety?
