No, but I did see lizards, antelopes, jackrabbits, baby bunnies of some sort, and quite a few birds. Oh, and telescopes, and H I spin flip absorption. So I'm not doing too badly.

giggle ... does it really stand for Very Large Array? I was sure it would have a much fancier name! ;)

Sounds cool. Are you able to bring these files back with you? Were you looking for something in particular?

Yes, well, that's exactly what it stands for. The same as the European VLT (Very Large Telescope) in Chile, the proposed ELOT (Extremely Large Optical Telescope) and TMT (Thirty Metre Telescope), etc. (more effort goes into designing these acronyms than the research, I sometimes think).

Yup, I have copies of all of our data. And we were actually looking for H I absorption, although we didn't get any good enough detections (a few 3.5-4.5 sigma detections, but nothing that couldn't have been RFI, so we need more follow-up time).
