You know, I truly don't understand that. When I read your reply I thought how did they not see my birthday in my profile? I know for a fact it's been displayed because I've joined other communities who have a similar rule. But, when I went to check, is had somehow been turned to 'do not display' and I'm clueless as to how it got that way!

Anyway, sorry about the hassle, but thank you for tracking me down. It should be 'displayed' now!

I just wanted to let you know that I've noticed something similar with my dob on my user info page. I've discovered it changed from "display" to "do not display" when I've not touched it. I've even seen it change itself from showing month-day-year format to only year and then arbitrarily change itself to showing just the month and day with no year whatsoever. I believe it's possessed!

No hassle at all though. We're just trying to be careful because of course as a kink community our content is typically very adult and we don't want to end up shut down and deleted. And with the new ownership in place and all of this "adult content flagging" business we're all a little worried about where things are going with the future of our options for posting and enjoying truly adult material freely at lj.
