My best friend's mom is dying of cancer. The last time the doctor saw her they gave her 2 weeks to 2 months to live. On Wednesday I am going to go over to say my goodbyes.

My mom passed away due to lung cancer this time of year, five years ago. Fuck cancer. Make sure she feels loved, comfortable and incredible. You're in my thoughts.

I'm glad she seems to have a grasp on the future and comfort in her beliefs. That's about all anyone has, I guess. Hopefully the pain isn't around much longer, at least.
