Summer chores

After more than three years of dependence on neighborhood laundry services, I finally decided to purchase a washing machine. We've been shopping around for one and have even come up with a shortlist that meets all our criteria (good features, fully automatic and won't set us back too much), but the actual buying was taking awhile because we wanted ( Read more... )

hey dicey! smiled at your blog. memories of my past with diapers and piles of dirty clothes came flooding...! hahahaha! and to think i endured a season without a washing machine. gawd! bloodied and blistered hands + soap and chlorox = ow ow ow.

automatics don't rinse as good as their lesser cousins but that's just my two cents... plus they raise your electricity bill...

I rinse a million times, it seems. The soap never seems to go away.

Matthew finds the machine funny. He tries to imitate the spinning action with his head.

I know, I know. That's why we try to never have to go there. But it's better than starving when you're overdue for a trip to the supermarket. ;-)

Oh, I didn't mean that it was healthy. I mean those places with real food. Matthew is a big restaurant eater, he seems to like Italianni's best.

I'm not such a big Italianni's fan, but if Matthew likes Italian food at this early stage, he's going to develop a lot of taste as he grows up ,D

Wash, spin, rinse, and cycle...

I used to love to doing laundry! Kaya lang ang gastos ko sa tubig. Same as you, I never seem to get the detergent to wash off. :p
