Freaky to wake up with a ton of fire crews, police and news trucks right outside your apartment. Someone has been going around setting buildings on fire in the neighborhood and the house across the street from me got hit. Great. -

Tomorrow is the five year anniversary of my mom's death. I haven't dwelled on it so much lately (lately defined as the past couple of years), but it's been in my thoughts more and more lately.
