I think that Fox only has the people that disagree with them on their show via satellite on purpose.
I think that if I was on there supporting a side that Fox was against, I would end up becoming violent after 3 minutes of being interrupted and teamed up against.
I would become violent with their faces dragging on the pavement from a speeding car.
This is the main reason I hate most news, except the occasional local type news. They all drive me crazy, even when they're teaming up to support a side I agree with.
I too champion the local news. Soft-news, weather panic, and amateur investigative journalism are so much better.
Mr(s) Anonymous, you had me going until that last line.
Best to avoid all television news, unless you want to play drinking games. I don't recommend doing "Drink when you see something you really wanted see, like the weather." Experienced drinkers will never hit a buzz and lightweights will not be able to maintain a buzz.
I only really pay attention to sports news. The other kind of news can wait. If it's controversial, maybe after a few months the truth will come out. If it's really important, I'll probably hear about it somehow.
Jeromy is Mr. Anonymous, as I constantly forget to sign in when commenting on this.
When I said except the occasional local news, I had in mind things like road closure, school closure, and things that are actually important to know.
The news has mostly become unimportant and poorly executed entertainment, instead of a reliable and unbiased source of current events. Just one more flagellation to the dead horse.
The Vonnegut obituary seemed about as appropriate as the Westboro Baptist Church's latest endeavor.
