Robin is staying overnight at the hospital, i will do it tomorrow night as we are taking turns.
Things have seemed to calm down since yesterday, we spoke to the medical director of the palliative care unit this morning, he came to clear up any more questions/confusion still present about Dad's condition. First thing he did inform us was that it

Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you constantly, I only wish we could be there for you. I hope the end comes without Dick experiencing any pain and a sense of peace.
Much love from our hearts to yours.

Seeing the picture of you posted on the web site brought back vivid memories of our time touring around Orissa. As we have talked about before, one of the best parts of the trip for me was spending time with you. Ah Dick, you certainly give meaning to the adage “dance like no one is watching”. I love and admire you!

I love you and miss you! Wanted you to know that 1,000's of people are praying for you.
I've been thinking back on all the fun times we used to have together - especially dancing the swing that you taught me in high school. That was such fun. Ted and I still show people we can do it when we go to weddings and such. People are really surprised - especially at our age (and weight - ha-ha). Thank you for all of the times you've made me laugh. Thank you for taking me to dances at your college.
Thank you for being such a good big brother. I cherish all the gifts you've ever given me - especially a pin that I still have. It's one of my prettiest even though some of the pieces have come off.
I wish I was there to hug you and tell you I love you in person and pray for you that God's peace would be upon you.
You are so very special to me.
I pray for you, Tuni, Robin and Amir every day. I love you LOTS!
Linda
