restless night

Jun 17, 2006 12:25

I'm beat.  The night did not go well for him.  He kept waking up every couple of hours.

The rest of my family showed up around 10:30, letting me go back home to take a nap, which is what I'm about to do.  I hope his day goes as well as yesterday, and certainly better than he was through the night.

Hopefully tomorrow will be better

Dear Dick, Tuni, Robin and Amir,

Although I have never met Robin and Amir, I've always been impressed with them from the updates Tuni would give us. I continue to be so impressed with them from reading the updates on this website. Their dedication, compassion and love for you Dick is so apparent. Their command of the situation and strength is also showing through in their messages. You and Tuni have given a wonderful gift to the world in your sons. I hope you find comfort in knowing that they will always be a wonderful reflection of you and Tuni.

I continue to hold all of you in my prayers. I know God will give you what you need to get through this time.

With love,
Diane Biondi Mukkala

Dick, I haven't been sure what to say. You are a good father and brother. You and Tuni have raised two great boys, and Jarrod and Ryan adore them.

I've been thinking of many things in the past. The time you took me skiing for the first time in my life, and I didn't break a leg. Also the time you whipped my ass when we were sword fighting with plastic bats at Dad's house. But probably most of all are the many christmas days that you would come over and play with all of Mike's and my toys. Thank-you for the memories.

Tuni and the boys will always have our love and be a part of our lives. We pray that you can be as comfortable as possible and for their continued strength to support you.

We love you,

Greg, Audrey, Jarrod, and Ryan
