For a bit more intimacy

Someone has just recently brought up a good point to me with an individual email.  If anybody has a more personal goodbye letter that they would like shared with my dad, but not have it up on the intranet for the world to see, they can feel free to email it to me directly.

My email is robin_trombley@wayne.edu

Though most people may not know these stories, hope they bring a smile to Dick and everyone else reading here. I'm Robin's age (within a dozen days or so infact) and have known him since 1st grade - I'm his childhood and adulthood self proclaimed "best bud". Thanks Robin.
We feel miserable and totally helpless here. I am
really confused. Why Dick, a most lovable person, has to
go through this. I vividly remember him spendig so much
time organising walk, seminar and raising donation to
help those who suffer. This is not his reward!!! The entire
world should pray him for his contribution to the society.
Hope we were all together.
Thanks for keeping us updated.

Going camping out at the lake, both with you and without (I still to this day tell people that it was the best camping in the world, I only hope someday to find a place even close to being as good to take my kids to). They seem as almost shadows, but every single one is a good memory, and when I stop to think of you and close my eyes I always see the same face with a BIG smile as was common on Christmas days (and ( ... )
