For those who don't already know, Dick is back home in Wixom.  We have a hospital bed set up in the master bedroom overlooking the lake.  There is a few chairs in there as well as a twin bed for someone to sleep in the same room with him.   Many people have been coming to see him and they have made him so happy... all of us happy.

Dear Dick, Tuni, Robin and Amir,

We were really really pleased to hear that Dick was home. Last night Naro, Shibani and I drank a toast to all of you. An excuse to have a few glasses of wine! Not that we need an excuse - as you know!!!

Today Naro and Shibani left to go on their cruise to the arctic circle. I went to collect my brother and his family from Heathrow airport.

It is a beautiful, hot and sunny day here today. I hope it is smilar where you are.

Hi all. I'm writing on Saturday night, late. I had wanted very much to come back again today after the very special time I was able to spend with Dick, Tuni and Amir yesterday, but the day got away from me. Both of my sisters and two close friends, with whom I haven't actually spoken for a month because of all of the events in my life, called me to catch up -- including to find out how Dick is doing. By the time I'd completed those conversations, I was way behind in the other matters I needed to take care of, so could not come out there. I have felt so privileged to be included in everything that you are all undergoing. The worst thing in a situation like this is to feel helpless and in the dark. With this journal you have helped all of us who love you find a way to share our love and concern and prayers with you. While this has, of course, helped you to feel supported, it has, equally, helped me to deal with my own terrible sadness about the impending loss of a dear friend whose life has been intertwined with mine and my
