LOG: Sakura and Sasuke

Jan 06, 2010 00:52

Who: Sakura and Sasuke
When: January 4th in the mid-afternoon
Where: Sasuke's house
Why: Sasuke went and got himself a case of the common cold, and Sakura wanted to visit him with some tomato soup and a little company. Many... unusual things may result from this, so if you want to watch? Don't expect the typical. It's us writing this, remember?

After arguing with Suigetsu about the fact that he’d booked her for an entire weekend Sakura had gotten out of her pyjamas tossing them onto the floor and getting dressed pulling on a abercrombie t-shirt not really bothering to notice that her bra was showing through the thin white materal. She searched through the clothes on the floor and found an old men’s abercrombie sweatshirt and her favourite pair of sweatpants that she’d be pretty much living in at home and tugging them on. There was no need to dress up and because she had spent so much time being pissed off about the whole escort for a weekend there was no time either. Quickly checking the clock Sakura pulled her hair up into a ballerina bun and grabbed her prada bag and rushed out the door only stopping for a few seconds to lock it before jogging to the restaurant ( ... )

He stopped in mid-brush when a familiar, female voice echoed sternly throughout the usually silent house. Smirking to himself, Sasuke spat into the sink and gave his face one final splash of cold water before helping himself to one of Itachi's regal purple, Egyptian cotton towels ( ... )

Sakura jumped when she heard Sasuke’s voice almost knocking her head on the cupboard door turning her head as she hopped down from her perch on the counter. “Hey.” His voice was scratchy, but she expected that. Sakura rolled her eyes as she pulled down two bowls to add to the two plates that were already waiting to have food put on them. “Of course I went to that place. I said I would didn’t I ( ... )

"K'so..." If he was in any other better shape than this, Sasuke wouldn't allow Sakura to help herself to drag him everywhere. However, the strong smell emanating from the food soon hit his nostrils, making the raven more than eager to allow Sakura to set up the table and finally get some of that soup up close.

When he settled in the chair, Sasuke held up one of the spoons (Sakura accidentally grabbed the Oneida-brand utensils pre-arranged for special occasions, but that wasn't important to ruin her generous spirit with), and studied the soup carefully, swirling it around the bowl in the process. "This actually looks very good, Saku."

Once tasting a heapful of the soup, he hummed contently, nodding his head to across the table as he added, "Delicious, too."

Not only that, but the tomatoes and every other ingredient used in the soup literally tasted fresh and high quality. Sakura's restaurant was assumed to be not of good stature, but the Uchiha was definitely proven wrong. It didn't help that Sasuke was absolutely starving; his ( ... )

Nodding, glad that he had been drinking a lot she took another bite of the sandwich before getting up to get the tea that she had left on the counter pouring some into a cup from the cupboard. It smelt amazing, the combination of ginger, lemon and honey plus she had boiled the water with a cinnamon stick so it was extra fragrant. She liked the taste; she drank it while she was reading instead of having packaged tea.

Walking back to the table she placed the cup beside Sasuke’s almost empty bowl of soup as she did she realized she hadn’t put back on the ring that Sasuke had given her. She hoped to god that he wouldn’t notice, or maybe that he had forgotten that he had even given it to her either or would work out. If he did notice then she would have to go into a huge explanation of why she wasn’t wearing the ring and then she would have to bring up what Suigetsu was saying to her, what Naruto was saying to her because there was no way she wanted to lie to him when this entire issue was raised because Sasuke was so damn secretive ( ... )
