Should I go to Maryland Deathfest this year? Should I really? REEAALLY?

Also, I'm going to see Boredoms on Saturday.

FUCKING BOREDOMS!

Also, my ex-girlfriend [I just typed grillfiend by mistake; Grillfiend would be a great name for a BBQ-themed metal band) wants to be my facebook friend. That is weird for me.

so I'm assuming you're not friends in real time, then? my boyfriend is friends with the majority of his exes, which I don't GET. I'm not friends with any of mine, and being presented with his generally jovial chummyness with all of his, I thought that I was maybe somehow socially lacking.

In the last conversation we had I mentioned specifically that I didn't consider her a friend of mine; what's actually confusing is my hesitation to ignore it.

ha. internet "friendship" is so weird. it's like when it's online, that relationship label has a completely different connotation than in real life, or something.

Maryland Deathfest is a fucking blast. I'm probably not going this year since I went last year and I'd rather take some other trip instead, but the lineup is killer again this year. I gotta warn you, though, there is SO MUCH METAL. It's kind of insane. But you should definitely go.

I'd only really need to see days two and three, but that comes to $80 instead of $85 for all three days. I need to consider work during that time though. Work. Meh.

Since I posted this, I found out that the unannounced Ween festival that was a possibility for this summer has been scrapped, so I am officially considering going to MDF again.
