So in a random act of kindness, my parents have agreed to pay for at least one year (maybe all) of San Jose State if I stay around here, and to cosign a loan for me if I go elsewhere. Apparently they've seen me working hard and were inspired to encourage me to get my degree since they have at least two friends whose kids have became homeless bums.

It's cool to hear that your parents have decided to fork over some financial grants your way! If you do decide to return to San Jose State University, you should take as many upper-division courses possible while your parents have been enlightened by their parental duty :-)
And, hey, if you decide to go elsewhere and utilize US Federal Pell Grants, the courses will hopefully be transferrable.
I think you would be great in "West Side Story." I'm sure it would be quite exciting for you. I wouldn't worry about still living at home. Haha, if you get tired of your parents, do what others do: look at their checkbooks. Then, smile, and bake your parents some cookies.
Still hoping to see "Laura." Not looking good though, but you don't really know me so I guess it doesn't really matter, lol.
