i've been wanting to update for a while now, but, i always feel like i need pictures to accompany each blog. sadly, the weather has been pretty crappy and thickly overcast so i didn't really have a chance to take any good pictures. today was a bit different, mostly cloudy, but once in a while the sun would find it's way through. i snapped some ( Read more... )

yeah, when i was first buying yarn i would always look for really cool looking yarns rather than ... fiber content. but, after making myself a scarf that's a bit itchy i've been buying softer (more expensive) stuff.

out of the pictures i think the tweed and possibly the thin blue scarf with the stripes will be itchy.

the scarf for kevin (with the grey and light blue) is 100% acrylic... i originally thought man-made fibers would suck.. but it's SO soft. hehehe.

and then anne's scarf... which looks itchy is actually really really delicate. sometimes when i'm touching the little threads i can barely feel them in my hands.
