I thought I sensed a disturbance in the Force.

Also, I love how you love food.

Yeah, the stance we took on the possibility of having a flight canceled was, "Well, at least we'll be in Chicago." If I get into my conference, I will be there for an actual visit in August!

We pretty much plan our vacations around food now.

yes, food! i am going to Chicago next weekend to eat my heart out! all my plans are centered around my meals and where i want them to be! Lula Cafe, Streetside, Orange, Sultan's, Handlebar, Ethiopian Diamond, here i come! I like Seattle too, but i know less about its food. Julia's has delicious, fresh, vegetableness. The Honeyhole was funky, and appropriately neighbors with Toys in Babeland. Bizarro Italian Cafe was great. and then I went to a bar called Chapel that was kind of too mod and sparse for my aesthetic tastes but i recall the menu looked interesting. and the Seattle Public Library is totally worth a visit! enjoy!

Yeah, the library was great! Our Seattle theory mainly came down to "good seafood."

That sounds delicious for Chicago.
