Tough survey -- my political stances versus who I think is deserving of federal money don't always meet eye to eye. I.e., I think military families and lower-level salaries need to be increased, even though I fundamentally oppose most kinds of military spending at a more theoretical level. (Less of a problem thinking that "research and development" and "construction" shouldn't get even a fraction of the money they do.)

Side note for yr researchers -- this survey actually encouraged me to do some research to figure out how much spending these projects are actually getting! (Not as much as I should have, but y'know, better than nothing.)
