phew. that's good news! i heard that the ending was the worst ever (note: did not read the article for fear of spoilers), and have been very afraid.

I think the article is overblown; when I saw the finale, I liked it a lot, although I'm less satisfied in retrospect. But awful? No.

The use of the song? Problematic, although I object less to that now than I did when that happened. Although separate from the plot, I like the sitar-ish reworking of the song.

oh, i liked the sitar, too. the reveal was pretty good, the song itself notwithstanding, especially since they showed the one i most strongly suspected of being a Cylon reacting to the music last. i'm glad to hear that the rest of the series is not going to be a waste of time.
