i've got a horrible cold, but it's finally starting to go away. I don't know if it's because I am generally sick, or I am having withdrawl symptoms from quitting smoking cigarettes.

i knew as soon as I woke up yesterday that I was going to see him. I had my eye out all day, really. It was just that gut instinct; something was unsettling and I recognized it's feel. And then, of course, ten minutes before a presentation I was giving, I walked out the door as he was walking in. great.
and just so the record is clear, i didn't lie

School is back in full swing, and I am very pleased to be taking most of the classes which I am. I thoroughly despise my TSOL class already; the material seems rudimentary and the level at which it is exposed is almost insulting compared to my literature classes. I can get eleven hours of sleep, like I did last night, and still feel so exhausted the next day. I'm always tired. I'm always restless. I'm running circles around my anxiety and can't seem to get enough rest.

i got my haircut today whew

i ran my dad's truck into a cement pole getting out of my parking garage yesterday. fail. he handled it really well when i told him, though. i still feel terrible.
got kind of drunk last night at tanquery's. and now i'm hungover.
