I've learned a new way that German is confusing.
In English, sodomy is teh buttsex.
In German, 'Sodomie' is bestiality.
What a way to end the year.
(And yes, this knowledge did happen over the course of a family dinner conversation. I'm still not sure whether this is a good or a bad thing.)
