try lying in bed with pillow(s) under your pelvis. this should move baby up just a bit and relieve some of the pressure. I wouldn't sleep like this but it sounds like he is pressing so hard on your pelvic nerves and really, you shouldn't have to suffer. Oh and is there a pool you can go to?

its pressing mighty hard on the pelvic nerves for sure, sometimes when it moves I feel like I could vomit. I can deal with the back pain and general bump pain and what not but the pelvic discomfort truly horrible.

I've been experimenting with different pillows and lying in a hot bath is a real relief. Not made it to the pool in a couple of weeks but may go over the weekend if we're still hanging in there!

Its wriggling and writhing about a lot tonight like its trying to make a move to shift but who knows....

Head down and engaged, has been for nearly a month. I've been 3/5ths for about 3 weeks now but its not moving on to 2/5ths in any rush!

A lot of things can happen in three or four days - you never know!

What was your actual due date?

Indeed! I am now as of this morning exactly 7 days over.

Well, 7 days past is when I started having contractions and I had C two days later - remember, most first-time mums go to 9-10 days past due :)

Hoping it happens sooner rather than later for you!

Glad you're getting to enjoy the sunshine, I know this part sucks but I reckon you might as well enjoy the "calm before the storm" (when the pain/nerve thing isn't driving you crazy that is!).
