going to california with an achin' in my heart

so california... i haven't fallen instantly in love with it like i feared/expected. it isn't as glossy as i thought it would be. most of san francisco is kind of gritty, but in a funky, expressive, "no sucka" way. i do like it here, and if i end up out here in a few years, i'd be down for it. i have a hankerin' that i'm going to swoon when i drive ( Read more... )

how about the "yard stick to the chin looking at the tip of it while spinning then trying to jump over it" trick?

Bored at work, so I'm re-reading your old entry with the survey...and I see this:

"Gotten beaten up? no, but willie hawley did shove me this summer. strange incident."

What did he do to you? I find it hard to believe that our dear little Moses would be so aggressive. I don't find it hard to believe, however, that he once fell backward out of the tree in the middle of Kresge Village, because I witnessed it.

Story for another time...

well... there was this kayak race thing - remember the triathalon? well, he and danielle goodrich/caterina are coming in neck and neck, and willie was totally being a jerkface. he was pushing her and stuff. so anyway - he jumps out of his kayak and starts swimming in. danielle kept paddling. but we said they have to bring their kayaks in. so danielle is about to get hers, but then kris edler pushed moses' kayak towards him, meaning he didn't have to swim out and get it. so in order to make it a fair race, i pushed the kayak back towards where it was. moses saw me do it, and SHOVED ME, as one does when starting a fight. i was shocked. i tried to talk to him about it afterward, but he was so pissed at me, we didn't talk again before he left camp early. it made me upset, but i stand by my pushing action. bummer of a situation, but it's not as bad as the holocaust.
