Hello there and good day from the great frozen tundra that is currently Ames, IA. While it hasn't been announced yet, I am so TOTALLY NOT GOING TO WORK TOMORROW!!! With the expected precipitation of 5-7 inches with a frozen layer to boot, travel doesn't look too promising tomorrow ( Read more... )

Been a long time since we talked. Glad to hear things are going pretty well. I wish we could get some snow here. It just rains and we got a little sleet and it hurt! No fun there. I want a puppy too!! Too bad I deploy in about August and it wouldn't be fair to the puppy to get settled in and then passed off to someone else. Maybe a pet mouse. I can just let it roam the apartment when I leave. Hehehe. Go mousy go!
