And here I was, thinking in my naivete that all I needed was a passion for gatorade. APPARENTLY that wasn't enough.

The coaching staff recognized your passion for Gatorade, and even felt that you were the most talented at quartering oranges.
The determining factor was that your cuteness would be a distraction to the players, and the coaching staff feared if you were handing out Gatorade and oranges, the guys would start focusing on reciting sonnets from "Romeo & Juliet" rather than focusing on decking Italian midfielders.
As the "Gatorade Girl," Robin Williams may just dress up as "Mrs. Doubtfire," and Lord knows she's NOT hot.
