Right after Nationals, I hit the ground running trying to play catch up with the ACP and Spare Change, so I've been too busy to write the much needed recap. Every now and again, I do something outrageous to take my mind off of the world, and with Nationals right around the corner, a little break from competitive pokemon is good for the sanity. This week, I chose to take a break from pokemon with, well, pokemon. No muscles strained here, clearly.

Last Sunday was the long awaited Christmas in the City - or for the homeless and poor of Boston, the party of the year. And in exchange for letting my clients attend, I agreed to work the entire day. It took three months of badgering via email, phone calls, and in-person visits, but I managed to get not just K and L, but my entire shelter enrolled in in Christmas in the City this year.
