I love my father, and my mother is an amazing woman. But inheriting his taste in women has been profoundly annoying, if very interesting

哥们,I would simply like to point out something. We are far too young to really decide if we want any truly lasting mess, aren't we? I mean, if you think about it, two decades is a pretty short amount of time to both try and discover who we are as individuals as well as find somebody whose jagged edges fit with our own in such a way that we would *want* a lasting mess. You will find somebody that you want a lasting relationship with; it just needs time. And I'm sure that you'll still be able to see two friends who are in love and smile even when you're still running around having adventures in your 80s (hopefully with your crazy mad significant other), if only because you're human and empathizing with others is as human as it gets.
Says the girl in Super Serious Relationship. You should really write more, and worry about your neighbor's meaningless and bitter rants less. 妮妮姐, I know what you mean and you've got a point with the age and appropriateness thing. But you never feel young. And that's all I mean to say. How I feel, strongly, in one moment, strong enough that I wish to articulate and develop it and reconcile it by putting it in words, and possibly exposing it to utside criticism. I'm not worried about finding someone that matches up with the ragged edges--mostly because I don't really expect a perfect match, unless I get really lucky. That's statistics for you. But I thank you for your kind and wise words and well wishes. How's your crazy mad significant other, anyway?
Well, I guess I don't practice what I preach, as far as relationships go... XD I keep meaning to write entries on random things and just fail at actually getting around to it; you remember what it was like with my China blog.... I know what you mean about moments of angst, though; they hit me every so often, despite the fact that I'm Super Serious Relationship Girl. Astro-Boy is doing well! He's gone crazy and decided to take the English thesis class next year just for kicks, as well as writing his own science thesis, but that's how it goes. It's not entirely unexpected; he's almost as into Medieval English Lit as he is into astronomy and physics.... We've been talking lately about where to travel in the future because his top picks are all in Europe and I want to see Southeast Asia... We'll figure it out, though. :) By the way, how did your plans for the summer and next school year work out? Do you know what you'll be up to? :) I hope that all is going well over in 中国!I'm looking forward to having all of you who are still abroad back
