This is a complete outrage!

Holy fucking shitballs? REALLY? They are going to cancel the 12th grade so they can put pregnant (or recently pregnant) women behind bars?!

Fucking nutjobs.

Lawmakers were responding to the case of a 17-year-old pregnant Utah woman who paid a man $150 to assault her physically in the hope that the beating would cause her to miscarry.
It is heartbreaking that there are women who have limited to no access to abortion and have to resort to be physically assaulted to lose a fetus. What kind of fucked up world is that?

It's a nightmare, I'm brainstorming rite now. I want to do something to help them! They treat pregnant women worse than child rapists over there.

I cannot think of anything to do other than maybe donate to their local Planned Parenthood, if they even have one.

That's my homestate and yeah, I'm not surprised. This is a law that if they can push it through, they might use it as a stepping stone to try and roll back abortion. The stigma women would face even trying to get perfectly legal abortions is bad enough.

Any organizations that you know of trying to stop them?

Not any specifically, but donating to Planned Parenthood and the ACLU is usually helpful. This law has already been passed earlier this year but it's worth helping to get it off the books.

I donate to planned parenthood regularly. I'm not familiar with the ACLU, I'll look them up. Thank you!
