Going to Finland

Iikka just informed me that we will indeed be heading to Finland for the holidays. Do to limited amounts of vacation time (we will be traveling much more this year) We will only be gone from the 20th of December - 28th. We'll spend the first few days in Helsinki and the remainder of our trip in Taivalkoski with his family

It was a joke. When I first met Iikka I asked him what his family thought of his success in the united states and he replied 'I don't talk to them they're Amish'.

No seriously, santa's village is a place in the Lappland, about a 2 hour drive from where you'll be :P just inside the arctic circle ;)

My Brother says if it's your first time it's worth the drive if Iikka is up to it and you have the time. Though I'm sure he's been many a time :P

though ya perhapes the Finns have a flying Sled, they are crafty those Finns... particularly the amish ones.
