I'm back. From outer space. Or vacation, actually. It was good; I got my ears pierced at 10 gauge while I was there. And took up PVP. Played in a Mage campaign, I'm in love with the system now, and if luna_ozymandias doesn't run a Mage game, I will. That's really it ( Read more... )

Hmmm, never played any Mage stuff. What's the setup like?

Also: Greek. Is Dr. Rosinski (is that how you spell it?) still there? I took like a semester of it before running out of help from mi padre, so...she was cool, though. She plays DDR. And that's just a badass hobby for a teacher to take up. I mean, come on.

Dr. Resinski is still here, but she's on sabatical. She is some sort of deity, I swear. No one could dislike her. She's still in Conway though, and she's my advisor so I'll see her. We have a stand-in this semester, Eric Ross. Nifty enough dude, but no Dr. R :C

Haha, I know. I didn't do so well in her class (or any classes for that matter) just because - to be honest - I wasn't prepared to go into college. I wasn't ready and I didn't care enough.
Pain in the ass to deal with now, of course, but hey....you live, you learn.

Oh, and Mage is similar to other World of Darkness stuff, and not that unlike Exalted. Play any of those? It's a d10 based system. Attributes are broken down into physical, mental and social, with a "strength" "dex" "stamina" equivalent in each, like manipulation for dex in the social category, etc. Magic is done by spheres, there are like ten. There are abilities, like Brawl, Occult, etc that you can chose to distribute your character creation points in. That sort of thing.

My main inasmuch as I have one is a lvl 26ish N'elf hunter on Blackwing Lair, but right now I'm playing Undead Warlock on Onyxia obsessively. I also have a Tauren Warrior and Druid floating around on Executus, I think, and assorted other things I have no bothered to level. What lvl are your chars?

I have one on Stag that's a lvl 16 undead priest, and then my main and a bunch of randoms on Dalaran. My main is level 48, SO CLOSE TO 49! :(...taking too long, haha.

So basically, if you ever decide to come onto Dal, I power level ya :P

That's the only Rolling Stones song that I like. Good call. It's just so much more...not old sounding? Compared to their other stuff.
