fart or the action of farting is simply me ranting about artists in general...since I'm now in WSU's art department...haha.

now, i do believe every art piece is a expression, it might be subconscious, but every decision made(color, shape...etc) on a piece of art work is some sort of expression. I know it's very abstract, but that's what I believe. Happy people draw happy things, and vise versa.

a doodle is an expression too, in most cases-boredom.

Dude, seriously, comparitively your English is pretty damn good.

As for art... it's such an enigma. You really can't put anything to it. That's why I hate getting grades on the projects we do. It's virtually impossible to grade "art" (let alone give us a bad fucking grade, unless it's stick figures or some shit). It depends on the person whether it's an expression of themself, or simply just something they do. I fall somewhere in the middle of that. I want to create amazing, awesome, and cool character designs and concept art. Is that shit deep? Hardly. But it's just what I want to do. It's not necessarily an emblem of my individuality, it's just what I enjoy creating. People get so lost in trying to put meaning to their work (and there's nothing wrong with that) but sometimes they're missing the whole point.

I dunno, I'm rambling. Whatever.

that's the thing tho, what really is art? for example, character design, if you really put your heart into the character, then you want the character to have certain personality, and you want people be able to feel that layer when they look at this character, then I think there is expression in there. whatever it is, without feeling, is dead, feelings are what make something alive, and you certainly want your character to be alive. So in a way, you are being the character that your are designing, and you are expressing certain feelings as if you are the character, does that makes any sense ( ... )

" used to think that the reason my hobby changes on a monthly basis is because I get bored with things fast, or that I'm just simply interested in everything, although both are true, what I have been looking for is really just a fitting way of expressing myself."

You have access to more menu options to choose from. The boredom part signals it requires discipline of accepting it as a job, or the limits become known too quickly.
