What is the frame of mind wherein one could look forward to traffic jams and insomnia? Maybe a formal description of the architecture of the stuckness is in order. (I need to look again at your meta-manifesto) Will Johnny Reinhard be at the fest? I was browsing my way through your list of xen links and was wowed by his trio and statements of purpose and even his autobiography. I couldn't find any online info about his Varese project. I think if you wait to change there, you can shop for rates, ask around.
a clearer sketch of my stuckness:radio2ioMarch 14 2007, 05:39:48 UTC
There are times when I fear the near future, as absurd as that is. I fear that time will pass, and I respond by-what else-allowing even more time to pass! The stuckness happens is most apparent when I am wanting to do something that I have been unsuccessful in getting myself to do for far too long. Rusty engine, or unbuilt engine. Often the stuckness is surprising given the absence of actual obstacles to progress; it is often at these moments of clarity, when seeing that there are no obstacles, that I want to be stuck. Beyond the comfort of authority's guidance (sometimes even logic's guidance), but not yet my own guide, I sink down into inaction. It's funny how inaction can make it look like time itself isn't moving. Would that I had that power, but alas, the clock and the world drag me on prematurely into the future-present.
