I think Wyness mentioned slendro - he certainly did a lot of auditioning traditional scales for himself. Probably Greek in origin though.
Your past London experience sounds thrilling. I hope it's not a long time until I can return. Donald Bousted suggested that I could do udderbot for one of his Wild Dog music-and-video events...
I handed out CDs to like 3 people, but that was all I had. At the udderbot presentation, which was a slightly different group of people, people heard the udderbot sextets and the Elitist Rumba.
This is more of an email question than a journal question, but how is the 17-tone thing going? I have a concert date nailed down: May 7th. Is't possible?
