okay so. i went to patuxai today, which is a concrete version of the arc d'triomph (is there an 'e' on the end of that?) in the middle of vientiane. i saw the presidential palace on the way there, which is quite nice, from the outside, also went to wat sisaket, which was pretty cool. it was the only wat in vientiane that survived the thai invasion
