Motoring News: Rolls-Royce joins MTV to fight HIV and AIDS

Jul 10, 2006 19:06

This was a piece of random news I came across, and only finally remembered to post here; not precisely about Diego, but there's a mention of him at the end.

Article's under the cut, in case the original link doesn't work for people.

"Footballer"? Okay, I understand that Diego isn't exactly a household name, but if the author of the article knew Gael is an actor, wouldn't they know Diego is as well?

Ugh, maybe I'm just in a particularly cranky mood, but that irks me.

It was the footballer mention which threw me at first, I'll admit, when I first read this. It might be the fact that he's known for a like of football, and having played - I remember there's been mention or a photoshoot somewhere? (It escapes me right now.)

I'll admit to being irked by the 'mix up' (to be polite) as well since a quick online search or a check at a video store would've clarified he's not a footballer.

See, my first thought when I saw that was that the author must have done a web search, come across some old publicity shots from when Diego was still planning to do Goal, and gone "Oh, footballer" without reading any of the text. *lol*

-LOL!- That could've been the case! I read the article, originally, when I was waking up one morning, so I wasn't certain if it was the case there was a footballer called Diego Luna or the actor.

Okay, that would be a bit more understandable, then. But then, since Gael is on the list it does make you wonder.
